About the role
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Removalist Labourer/Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Relocation Group in Melbourne, VIC. This is a casual role that will involve assisting with the loading, unloading and transportation of household and office items for our clients. A flexible schedule and strong teamwork skills are essential for this position.
What you'll be doing
- Safely loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other items from moving trucks
- Driving moving trucks and vans to transport items to and from client locations
- Carefully wrapping and protecting items during the moving process
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the moving process
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of moving vehicles
- Assisting the moving team as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient relocation
What we're looking for
- Experience working as a removalist labourer or truck driver
- A valid Hr/Mr licence
- A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of moving best practices and safety protocols
