Cloudberry Early Learning - Mernda is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader to take the helm of our brand-new, state-of-the-art centre as Director.

Key Responsibilities;
• Bring– Oversee the setup, from designing learning spaces to selecting resources that foster creativity and development.
• Build a Dream Team – Recruit, mentor, and lead a passionate group of educators, shaping a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Run a Smooth Operation – Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe, high-quality environment.
• Create Exceptional Learning Programs – Work alongside an Educational Leader to implement engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Engage Families – Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates and fostering a sense of community.
• Manage Resources & Budgets – Oversee financial planning to ensure sustainability while investing in high-quality educational tools.
What We’re Looking For;
• Experience – At least 5 years in early childhood education, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Qualifications – A Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Leadership – A strong, hands-on leader who can inspire, support, and guide a diverse team.
• Organizational Skills – Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of care and education.
• Passion for Early Learning – A commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child.
• Regulatory Expertise – Strong knowledge of childcare policies, regulations, and best practices.
