Job description:

Are you a dedicated professional seeking a meaningful role in a dynamic and rewarding environment? Join our team as a Security Officer in the healthcare sector in Geelong and make a real difference!

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors within healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a part-time position. We currently have a number of FT, PPT and Casual positions available for successful candidates.

• Monitor and patrol hospital premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents in accordance with established protocols.
• Manage access to restricted areas and ensure compliance with visitor policies.
• Provide assistance and guidance to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct routine security checks and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security concerns and support their operations.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to safety and security.

Key Requirements:

• Current Victorian Security License
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Previous experience in healthcare security or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
