About the roleThis position will allow you an entry into and blossom in the exciting field of Facade Engineer and Consultancy. You can progress into taking ownership over your projects and clients. With your capability and initiative you can be recognized as the best in the industry. Your duties consists of, but not limited to:§ You will be required to provide engineering computations and design sketches work across a broad range of projects within facades and related areas, with due regards to client requirements and available materials and construction techniques.§ Liaise with other staff, project teams, associated consultants, and clients and assist in building and maintaining relationships with all of them.§ Effectively manage the time, quality and performance of projects.§ Carry out site visits and inspections and produce inspection reports when required.§ Carry out other engineering related duties, as instructed.You Will Be:§ Well remunerated (better than industry average)§ Trained adequately and well supported in all your endeavorsBenefits and perks§ Flexible working hours.§ Informal working atmosphere.§ Convenient access to public transport.§ Quickly gain specialization in the exciting niche area of Facade Engineering.Skills and experience§ 0 – 4 Years of facade or structural engineering experience.§ Should have or expected to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. (Hons.) or Equiv.) from a reputed University.§ Expected to have graduated with a substantial number "HD" or equivalent in engineering and analytical subjects such as Structural analysis, Engineering mechanics, Fluid mechanics etc.§ Reasonably proficient with Australian Standards AND also the theoretical background of the provisions in the Standards.§ Good oral and written communication skills.§ Good Analytical ability.§ Strong Leadership ability.§ Enjoy and show enthusiasm for analytical engineering and calculation. (most important)§ Should be keen on continuing education and self-development.
