Corplex is a growing and dynamic construction company experienced in all types of building construction specialising in industrial and commercial markets.
Due to successful company growth, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Port Melbourne office on a full-time basis . Reporting to the Construction Operations & Procurement Manager, you’ll be working across multi-sites ranging in value of industrial and commercial projects.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing and delivering projects
- Create and maintain construction schedules for projects
- Maintain strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership to junior team members to assist in project outcomes.
- Provide input of financials and monitor financial status.
- Design in accordance with specifications, client requirements, contracts, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Supplier quoting, contract negotiation and procurement.
- Post construction activities including defects.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/ Contract Administrator in either - commercial and/or the industrial sector.
- A qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
- Solid understanding of project management within the construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
