$90,000 including super and salary packaging benefits

A values-based literacy organisation sharing the love of books and the habit of reading to children from generational illiteracy homes.

This is a full-time role and is located in St Kilda rd. Melbourne.

The Fundraising and Marketing Manager role at Reading Out of Poverty Inc is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of the overall fundraising and marketing strategy for Victoria. This role will focus on the day-to-day implementation of fundraising and marketing campaigns, philanthropic grant writing, corporate giving, school and community based fundraising activities, and administrative support to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators and organisational goals.

You will recruit, empower and manage a small team of volunteer fundraisers to increase your overall impact.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Executive Director will be responsible for:

Assist in the implementation of fundraising campaigns across various channels.

Develop and execute the fundraising campaigns

Implementation the nurture and solicitation from individual donors

In conjunction with the Executive Director, be involved in the grant writing of applications to philanthropic bodies

Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, website and public relations

Manage a small team of volunteer fundraisers and administration helpers to support your efforts.

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

Strong marketing, communication and interpersonal skills

A proven track record in achieving significant revenue targets.

Extensive fundraising experience in the not for profit sector

Demonstrated ability to create and execute complex campaigns with multi-channel marketing

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You must be a self-starter, highly motivated, innovative and able to create & build up from the ground.

Demonstrate leadership skills and personality type to motivate and energize volunteers.
