We are a small-sised IT company based in North Melbourne, looking for a hands-on Field Technician with experience in supporting clients with onsite IT Support. Sound knowledge of networking and IT hardware, with field-based experience, is highly advantageous.

Our company culture is tight-knit, collaborative, and supportive across the business. Due to growing demands, we are currently seeking an IT Field Services Technician (Part-Time) to join our high-performing team servicing Melbourne.
This is a part-time role, offering flexible hours for someone who thrives in a dynamic and challenging IT environment.
What you will be doing
- On-site installation and testing of IT devices such as servers, computers, firewalls, phones, and switches.
- Scheduling and performing regular onsite visits to assess and maintain clients’ IT environments.
- Cleaning, standardising, and optimising hardware to keep IT environments up-to-date.
- Supporting lifecycle management, including site expansions or relocations, by removing and replacing IT devices.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by troubleshooting and maintaining IT devices.
- Documenting procedures for projects and daily tasks.
- Providing non-business hours onsite IT Support if/when required.
- Assisting third-party technicians with IT-related tasks.
You’ll work with a variety of IT devices and environments, including:
- Servers, computers, laptops, printers, networking devices, firewalls, storage devices, phone systems, and more.
About you
- Previous experience as an IT Field Service Technician or in a Helpdesk role.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Willing to travel to various client sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s license (can use your own vehicle or company vehicle).
