Description:
We are looking for permanent part-time (minimum 3 days per week) experienced Medical Receptionists to join us, to work at our Prahran and Frankston Urgent Care Centres.
SACC operates the Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham Hospital, Prahran and Frankston; health pathways and a private medical practice. We are embedded in the Bayside community and have a team of passionate clinical and non-clinical staff.
Designed to take pressure of the Emergency Department, our Frankston and Prahran clinics see a high volume of walk-in patients, so our medical receptionists play a vitally important role in the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for patients and families
- Patient bookings over the phone
- Patient registration including collecting important data for the service
- Triage and support to clinical team
Requirements and Attributes
- Must have prior experience working Medical Reception, preferably using software package General Practice
- Strong focus on administration and concierge
- Excellent customer service skills and can remain calm under pressure
- Patient-focused and adaptable
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa
- Current National Police Check
- Valid Working with Children Check
