About our opportunity:
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, we have an opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a passion for reliability and efficiency to join our team in Rowville.
As the Maintenance Reliability Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving reliability of plant equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring optimal operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying areas of top losses and stoppages impacting asset performanceCompleting root-cause analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns ensuring that a standard approach is taken, and key stakeholders are involved in the processManaging the completion of corrective actions resulting from breakdown RCA workInvestigating unplanned breakdowns ensuring close contact with maintenance and operations to ensure an accurate root cause is establishedDeveloping operator capabilities to identify breakdown risks through good coaching and the use of visual controlsProviding training to operations team on basic first-line maintenance activitiesImplement reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Improving planned and predicative maintenance standards
About You
Mechanical trade qualified Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsKnowledge of GMP Experience in a food or dairy manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills
