We’re looking for an Accounts & Partnership Executive to grow and manage our partnerships with schools, universities, corporate sponsors, and innovation hubs. If you love building relationships, driving deals, and making an impact, this is the role for you. You'll play a key role in expanding HEX’s reach and revenue and ensuring more students get access to life-changing opportunities.Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll work closely with the Marketing & Growth team to align outreach efforts, optimise conversion strategies, and ensure our company’s message resonates with key decision-makers.
About You
You're energised by conversations, events, and meeting new people. In every group chat, you’re the one keeping the momentum going (and making sure that weekend away actually happens). You’re comfortable in the spotlight—whether it’s a microphone, a stage, or a camera, and yet you understand that listening is the most important communication skill. You’re adaptable, and can communicate just as well with a school Principal as you can with a Year 9 student. You take pride in the quality of your work, love learning, making connections, and sharing knowledge.
You have an instinct for people, both online and offline—spotting opportunities in a LinkedIn comment section just as easily as reading the dynamics of a room.
What You’ll Do
Identify, engage, and build relationships with education providers (high schools, universities, recruiters), corporate partners, and industry leaders.Pitch HEX’s programs to key decision-makers, demonstrating the value for their students or employees.Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation, emailing prospects, to closing deals – working towards growth targets.Proactively follow up on leads and nurture prospects through the pipeline to maximise conversion rates.Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to align messaging and offerings.Represent HEX in person at multiple events across Australia (and sometimes overseas!). This could be on a booth, as an attendee, or as a presenter.Public speaking at industry events, student clubs, networking sessions, and conferences to grow HEX’s presence.Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue growth.Maintain accurate records updates in our CRM and use data to track progress.Startup mentality, a chance to develop a diverse skill set in sales, partnerships, and strategy.
