The Role
As Governance Officer you will assist the Manager Governance & Civic Support in all aspects of governance processes, together with providing governance support to the organisation.
The role requires high level administrative skills and will include property management (including assistance with the preparation of leases and licences), FOI requests, Council meeting and business management and corporate reporting.

About You
To ensure your success in this role, you will possess a Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration or Governance, coupled with experience in Local Government or the Public Sector.
Your experience and understanding of Risk Management, Freedom of Information and Property Management - will shine through, as well as your understanding of corporate governance.
