Forklift Drivers

• Minimum 2 years experience
• Current Forklift license
• Timber Yard experience preferred, but not essential.
  Tasks include, but are not limited to;
  
• Loading and unloading materials from a variety of areas on site.
• Moving stacked materials around the site.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Following written instructions and keeping records.
• Assistance in production areas when required.
• Assist in unloading/loading trucks when required.
  Timber Workers
  Timber yard experience preferred but not essential
  Tasks include, but are not limited to;
  
• Rolling logs from trucks and conveyors to log decks, saw carriages and stacking bays.
• Placing logs and wood billets onto conveyors and lathes for processing.
• Sorting and stacking timber during milling.
• Placing timber for processing by machines and unloading cut timber from tail end of machines.
• Assisting with setting up and operating plant and ancillary equipment used in the manufacture of sheets and boards.
• Transporting processed wood products to work areas.
• Clearing blockages in machines.
• Assisting with measuring and cutting materials.
• Packing and loading finished products for transportation.
• Cleaning work areas, tools and equipment.
  To be successful for these roles, you must be physically fit, have reliable transport, be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, and able to do both day shift and afternoon shift.
