Summary:
We are looking for a driven Retail Store Manager to join our growing and dynamic team.As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, customer service, inventory management, and team development. Your goal is to ensure that the store meets its revenue targets and operates efficiently whilst providing an exceptional experience for customers.
Key responsibilities:
Retail:
Monitor and drive sales performance of retail store to meet targetsWork with Head Office teams on identifying & implementing sales strategies for growthAssist with setting stretch budgets for retail stores. Maximise store team performance through consistent coaching, monitoring, and feedbackManage store operations, systems and hardwareManage all stock transfers between head office and storesResponsible for banking/cash handling Ensure Visual Merchandising is executed and refreshed weeklyManage Store cleaning schedules and ensure standards are maintainedEnsure store presentation is inline with brand requirementsEnsure store storage areas are organised and maintained Manage the inventory of packaging and other store consumables Manage quarterly stocktake and shrinkage reportingEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer serviceResolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
Team:
Manage retail team recruitment and onboardingSupervise store staffImplement quarterly team training and bonding activitiesEnsure rostering is in line with headcount and wages forecastManage staff bonuses and incentivisationFoster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration Train and motivate staff
Brand:
Assist with retail activations calendarAssist with the execution of in-store marketing including decals, merchandising etcCoordinate retail activations within stores and with partnering brands, assisting with their ideation, planning and executionAssist with aligning store activity with Brand Marketing schedulesManage new collection launch executions within storeEnsure best practice is followed in the markets in retail marketing, visual merchandising etc
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven Experience as a Retail Manager or similar role in a retail environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Google Workspace and Shopify A team player with a positive can-do attitude
