Recurrent Energy are seeking an A Grade Electrician for:
- Darlington Point Solar Farm
- Local candidates, or, a relocation expense reimbursement
- Potential total package $127,500 - $132,500 plus 11% Super ($115,000 - $120,000 base salary depending on experience plus $6,250 allowance, plus up to $6,250 performance bonus)
- Access to company vehicle
- Inclusive of overtime paid at award rates

- 4 days on, 3 days off. (10 hour days)
We’re seeking motivated, organised and independent Lead Field Technician to play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm’s operations.
Your responsibilities as a Lead Field Technician will be:
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues
- Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training
- Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors
- Supervise, engage and mentor staff on site
- Manage and facilitate people matters with line manager support if required
To be successful as our Lead Field Technician, you will have:
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support team members effectively
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics
- Valid electrical qualifications license
- Can confidently manage site-based HV switching requirements with proven previous experience.
- Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar
- Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required
- Sound computer skills
- Valid Australian drivers license
This position is set on an 4 days on, 3 days off roster , and requires work outside of normal daytime hours. We are looking for candidates who live locally or accommodation is provided for those who are able to drive in and drive out.
You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train. As this is a long term role, we are only seeking applicants with full Australian working rights.
