What this job involves:

We’re looking for a Centre Manager to join our team, this role will work across two centres in the Lower North Shore. You will provide a high level of service to the client, whilst minimising risk to owner by leading and developing the onsite team.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Complying with all Acts of Legislation
  • Meeting appropriate deadlines imposed by the client and our Portfolio Manager
  • Having a thorough understanding and appreciation for the market environment, including competition, development proposals and infrastructure
  • Ensuring accurate records of all documentation are being maintained including tenancy schedule, financial statements, leases, and retailer files
  • Preparing annual budget, business plan, marketing plan, and monthly reports
  • Administering the leases ensuring that correct charges are raised, reviews are done on time, turnover figures collected, turnover rental charged, outgoing reconciliation’s completed, and confirming that all parties adhere to the conditions of the lease
  • Monitoring tenancy mix to ensure optimum rentals are achieved

You will be a true property professional with proven success in shopping centre management, with an in-depth knowledge of the retail sector. You possess excellent client relationship management skills and always look to find a win/ win solution for any challenge you meet.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience overseeing finance, budgeting, operations, contractor management and leasing
  • Real estate licence is required
