Senior Automation Tester -12 Month Fixed Term ContractThe Role
The purpose of the role is to design, implement, and manage automation solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure quality in processes, primarily in software development and testing.
Your role focuses on leveraging automation tools and frameworks to streamline workflows and deliver reliable solutions.
You'll will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to implement best practices, develop automation testing strategies, develop robust automation framework and support key digital transformation and BAU initiatives.
The role also extends to delivering relevant documentation that captures the needs and requirements of specific functionality and projects.

What will you do?
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using AccelQ to support various testing initiatives.Collaborate with business users, and other stakeholders to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Identify test scenarios and integrate automation into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Contribute to test planning, test design, and test strategy discussions.Ensure that automation aligns with organisational quality standards and objectives.Act as a primary point of contact for Automation testing-related activities.Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Ensure alignment with business and project objectives.Monitor and improve automation coverage for consistent and efficient delivery of high-quality software.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide valuable input to improve overall product quality.Analyse test results, report findings, and work closely with the development team to facilitate the resolution of defects.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.
What do you need?
6+ experience in Test Automation.Experience testing with Salesforce, Mobile Apps.Proven experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on functional and regression testing.Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
