  • Expected salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Bueno is launching in mid to late March this year. So, we’re currently seeking an experienced, energetic and well-presented permanent Head Chef to join our brand new St Peters located Cafe.

The café is open 7 days

Weekdays 7:30am-3pm

Weekends 8am-3:30pm

Duties

  • Create high volume quality simple food to a consistently high quality level

  • Manage the kitchen area autonomously.

  • Provide high-quality food including, scrambled, poached and fried eggs. Burgers, Fries amd Salads.

  • Provide exceptional service to all customers

  • Provide casual and junior chefs with technical support, training and knowledge on food storage, preparation and presentation

  • Helping the restaurant manager and head barista maintain a high level of team morale and motivation

Requirements

  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Food And Safety Certificate

  • An experienced Head Chef - with a minimum 12 months' experience as a head chef

  • Experienced in delegating and maintaining a strong clean kitchen

  • Ability to manage food stock - conduct stock take, ordering, rotation

  • Experience in running a kitchen area autonomously

  • Quick and efficient

  • Well presented with a great work ethic

  • In possession of valid Australian working rights

About Us

BUENO is a new Sydney based health food brunch destination. We will offer the locals and Sydney a seed oil free menu using grass fed tallow to fry and prepare our food in instead. Coconut oil used instead for our plant based community. Our beef grass fed, bacon free of nitrate, pasture raised chicken, free range eggs, jersey milk and alternative milk free of Xantham Gum, Thickners and Toxic chemicals. We will be known as “The Real Food People” because we are taking the chemicals out and leaving the food in. Join us!
