Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced Civil Design Modeller (Transport) to join our Digital Delivery team based in Sydney. We seek key talents to join our team, work on exciting Design & Construct projects with our partners, and potentially lead and build a team.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you:
- Collaborate and work on major projects alongside industry leading engineers and geometric designers.
- Develop your leadership in the Civil discipline (Transport) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain/establish/develop suitable corporate and client documentation standards/procedures.
- Produce technical deliverables in the form of design models and drawings based on engineering calculations sketches.
- Assist in the mentoring of drafters, modelers, and engineers as required.
- Provide checking role for projects as required.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in civil design modelling including experience on major road and rail projects. Experience with geometric design is considered advantageous.
- Experience in Design and Construct projects with tier 1 contractors.
- Proven experience in AutoCAD C3D drafting and modelling. Experience with 12D, OpenRoads is considered advantageous.
- Set up of projects in C3D.
- Ability to provide accurate engineering design documentation in accordance with standards and procedures to an excellent standard.
- Demonstrated ability in completing all designated work to programme and budget.
- A truly collaborative approach, as part of the Engineering / Project team.
- Experience using CDE’s such as ACC, ProjectWise, and Synergy and an understanding of ISO19650 workflows.
