Cleaner - Regis Port Macquarie | Part-time & Casual Shifts Available
We are looking for a meticulous and compassionate individual looking to contribute to the well-being of elderly residents in an aged care facility. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facilityReport any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolutionAdhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
What We Look For
A passion for caring for others Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamRespect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation Ability to be well organized and work under pressure and timelinesTo work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply an NDIS worker screening clearance and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
