We are seeking a motivated full-time Retail Manager to oversee the entire operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day management and a high standard of customer service.
Job Overview
The Retail Manager will manage all aspects of the service station, from stock control and staffing to promotions and financial management. You will be responsible for optimizing operations, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining regulatory compliances. This role is perfect for a driven leader looking to make an impact in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Business Operations: Direct, coordinate, and participate in all aspects of business preparation and execution.
· Inventory & Stock Management:
o Determine and order supplies needed to meet stock and cost goals.
o Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records of stock levels and control inventory.
· Purchasing & Marketing: Formulate marketing policies, set prices, and undertake budgeting activities.
· Financial Management: Perform daily banking, budgeting, and closing procedures.
· Staff Management: Assign, schedule, and monitor service station personnel, and manage recruitment, training, and performance.
· Sales & Promotions: Ensure promotional material visibility and promote sales and service excellence.
· Customer Relations: Greet customers, address inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a pleasant experience.
· Compliance: Ensure the premises meet cleanliness and health and safety standards.
· Team Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance service quality.
· Vendor Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 3+ years of proven retail management experience, preferably in a service station or medium to large retail store.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Experience in stock management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
· Ability to foster a positive team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
