About the role:
We are seeking an energetic, positive, and caring person to supervise and support our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role, you will be responsible for coordinating all day-to-day warehouse operations whilst working alongside the team, to motivate and achieve goals together. You’ll be proactive, able to multitask, problem solve and enjoy assisting our growing team while embracing change in a busy warehouse setting.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience in all warehouse operations including inwards and outwards workflows. We’re looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, and team player who can build strong relationships while prioritising the day-to-day operations. You’ll be able to thrive under pressure and be passionate about supporting team members to meet our service levels safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan & coordinate the work performed in the warehouse
- Supervise & support the Warehouse Assistants to ensure work quality and efficiency
- Champion Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Ensure stock handling & inventory accuracy
- Problem solve, anticipate and correct errors & exceptions
- Train team on operational procedures and use of equipment
- Support the Operations Manager as required, in improvement projects, change initiatives, and supporting high-performance culture
Requirements:
- Proven work experience (2-3 years) in a warehouse setting
- Forklift License
- Supervisor or people leading experience
- Able to quickly learn new systems, software and technology
