Description:
The RoleWe have a Records Officer position available with a local Government in Strathpine. This position will provide support to the departments Record Management team by processing emails.
This is a Casual, Full-Time role on an ongoing contract - Monday-Friday, up to 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with records management legislation, retention and disposal schedules, and internal policies.
- Process incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely responses and confidentiality.
- Manage correspondence and requests professionally, meeting deadlines and following up on actions as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective records management.
- This role is email processing only
- Experience in Records Management or a related field is preferred
- Government experience would be advantageous
- Strong ability to identify, interpret, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven ability to handle high work volumes with exceptional accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
