About the roleAs Service Delivery Technician, you will be part of the ICT Service Delivery team, providing professional technical support and delivering technology services, including service desk, desk-side, and VIP support. You will play a vital role in enabling ICT service delivery, including service management, incident and change management, and continuous service improvement.
Additionally, you will be involved in pivotal organisational transformation projects, such as the Windows 11 Rollout and Mobile Device Management, ensuring the smooth deployment and integration of new technologies while minimising disruption to business operations.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Provide professional technical support and services to deliver exceptional client servicePerform user and system administration tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to change management and security guidelinesAnalyse IT infrastructure and service performance identifying trends, bottlenecks, and recommending proactive solutions to optimise system stability and efficiencyExecute assigned projects independently, coordinating resources, and effectively communicating progress and challenges to stakeholdersEnsure the seamless operation of the organisation’s Standard Operating Environment (SOE) by maintaining compatibility with all Enterprise Business Applications

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a problem solver with excellent customer service skills and:
Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in an Information Technology discipline OR currently pursuing such qualifications OR relevant ICT certifications OR substantial proven experienceIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows 11, SCCM, and Intune, ensuring effective system deployment, management, and troubleshootingA solid understanding of ITIL principles, service level agreements, and application management best practicesExceptional communication, engagement, and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in any circumstanceStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling rapid assimilation of information regarding the Council’s culture, structure, systems, and processesA strong alignment with our core values: communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This is a permanent, fulltime, level 6 position, with a salary commencing at $105,560 plus 12.5% superannuation.
