ABOUT YOU
- This role requires energetic individuals who seek to make a difference in residents' daily living. Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents favourite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the resident’s faces
- You need to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will learn new skills as you connect and build quality relationships with individuals across a variety of aged care homes, enhancing everyone’s quality of life.
- Prepare, present and deliver delicious food and beverages to residents in accordance with Facility Food Safety Policies
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen
- Sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, benches & cutlery and disposing of rubbish
- Setting the dining room for daily meals – you may get to engage with the lovely residents, so a bubbly personality is a must
- Adhering to and supporting WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activities
- Cleaning of facility – residents rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping. Attention to detail is a must
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- A Food Handlers Certificate (FHS) is essential.
- Previous experience in the Back of House Hospitality, or Aged Care sectors.
- Current National Employment Police Check
- Covid vaccinated as per state government requirements
- Driver’s license and your own reliable transport
- Be willing to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp's onboarding process
