Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a contracted Classroom Teacher (P-6) – The Arts - Including Visual Art, Dance and Media Art with contemporary learning experience.
Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.
Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 700 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle & Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.
- This is a contract position, FTE 0.6, working three days per week, preferably Monday - Wednesday, commencing in Term 2, 2025, for the remainder of 2025.
- It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated capacity in working as a Primary Classroom - The Arts Teacher Foundation to Year 6 as this is the main focus of the role.
- The Arts position is responsible for the delivery of the Visual Arts, Dance and Media Arts strands of The Arts Curriculum.

3. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs

- Demonstrate a passion for involvement and willingness to develop the Extra Curricular Arts Program within the College, particularly on the Junior Campus
- Ability to integrate ICTs as cross curricular priorities in the curriculum
4. Knowledge and Qualifications
• An appropriate tertiary qualification in education
• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or able to obtain registration).
