Purpose of the role
We are seeking a skilled IT professional to support and maintain our core IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with broader IT teams to deliver business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Key priorities
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with IT teams to maintain a secure environment, align solutions with business goals, provide technical support, and stay updated on new technologies.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain system documentation, coordinate small IT projects, and manage Youi customisations.
- Configuration & Development – Implement system enhancements, automation, and configurations while supporting future upgrades.
- Maintenance & Monitoring – Monitor system performance, plan capacity, manage backups, install updates, and resolve technical issues.
- Workplace Health & Safety – Follow WHS policies, report hazards, and ensure a safe work environment.
- Youi Values – Drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement while upholding company values.
About you
Qualifications & Experience
- IT degree or equivalent vendor certifications.
- 2+ years as a senior administrator.
- Expertise in virtualized infrastructure (Hyper-V, VMware) and server OS (Windows Server 2019+, Linux Red Hat).
- Expertise in managing highly available web and application infratstructure.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, networking, security, and SAN storage.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Elastic, New Relic, Splunk).
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange, SQL) and Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Purview).
- PCI-DSS compliance experience and audit participation.
- Level 3 troubleshooting and hardware knowledge (Cisco, Pure Storage, Cohesity).
Ways of working
Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.
