Adcorp’s Professional Services division in Australia operates through multiple brands, including Paxus, a leading name in technology and consulting solutions. With over 50 years of expertise, Adcorp’s Australian operations specialize in project-based consulting and professional talent solutions, servicing Government, Industrial & Energy, Technology, and Professional Services sectors.
Reporting to the Global CEO based in South Africa, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Managing Director to lead and scale our Professional Services business, fully executing on our sector-based operating model while driving expansion into new industries and geographies across Australia. This role is pivotal in delivering growth, operational excellence, and long-term market leadership.
Role Overview
As Managing Director – Professional Services, Australia, you will own and implement the strategic vision for professional services growth, ensuring alignment with a new sector-focused structure. With full P&L responsibility, you will drive revenue and profitability while expanding into new sectors and geographic markets.
You will work closely with the Group CEO in South Africa and executive colleagues to optimize business performance, execute the national expansion strategy, and position our professional services division at the forefront of client-centric solutions.

Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–12 years in executive leadership (Exco/Board level), with a proven track record in professional services or staffing
- Demonstrated commercialexpertise—driving business performance and profitability
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, IT, or related disciplines.
Leadership & Management Skills
- Visionary, decisive, and comfortable leading through uncertainty and market shifts.
- Adept at people management, able to inspire diverse teams and instill a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with strong negotiation and public speaking capabilities.
Commercial & Financial Acumen
- Comprehensive understanding of P&L management, financial reporting, and cost optimisation.
- Strategic thinker, capable of identifying innovative opportunities and balancing risk vs. reward.
- Ability to scale operations and ensure readiness for future market disruption.
Technology & Innovation
- Track record of digital transformation—driving efficiency through technology and data-driven insights.
