Job Details
Job Description: Deputizes for the Team Leader during absences, provides technical oversight and guidance to a small technical team through the year, both in Barracks and deployed to ADF training areas throughout Australia. This position provides critical support to ADF training activities.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct operator level function checking of equipment assigned for use on training exercisesConduct minor operator level maintenance of equipmentRaise non-technical inspection reports to commence the maintenance process for damaged equipmentMaintain the cleanliness of the equipment, training facilities and vehicles used for exercise supportAssist the issue and receipt process for the instrumentation training equipmentWork with other team members to deliver soldier and vehicle equipment kitting/fitmentTrain the customer in the operation of instrumentationAssist in the establishment and ongoing support and maintenance of the contractor field accommodation prior to/during/post exercise periodsAssist in the establishment and pack-up of deployable facilitiesAssist with preventative maintenance for all assets as directedAssist in system stocktaking and audits as directedFollow equipment procedures and processes IOT support a safe working environmentPerform basic driving tasks as directedBPT issue and receipt equipment utilizing Cubic’s inventory management toolBPT conduct battery management including charging and recharging of battery fleet, and preparation ISO activitiesBPT collect and maintain data on battery health statisticsBPT conduct additional tasks as directed

Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience in a similar role (highly desirable)Experience operating in a small team environmentEligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearance

Medium Rigid driver’s licenceForklift licenceExperience in audio stores, maintenance or logistics
