Description:
Senior Rehabilitation Case Managers play a pivotal role in actively managing the rehabilitation process to achieve the best outcome for staff and the agency following an injury or illness.
They select, gather, and examine information to arrive at workable solutions or appropriate advice within the parameters of established policies and legislation.
The role will require you to review evidence, critically analyse information, and make evidence-based decisions. This often involves managing relationships with multiple parties across a variety of issues, ranging in complexity and sensitivity.
Liaison and client responsiveness are critical features of this role. You may be expected to provide timely advice and information on agency prevention strategies, early intervention, compensation, fitness for duty, rehabilitation, invalidity, and return to work practices.
Senior Rehabilitation Case Managers operate with limited direction from senior staff as to work priorities or the detailed conduct of tasks. They also provide leadership to team members in the delivery and provision of services.
