Description:
The OpportunityVeolia is currently on the lookout for a talented Field Technician to join our Ti Tree Landfill team within our Resource Recovery operations.
Reporting to our Field Supervisor, this position will supervise and oversee the gas infrastructure installation and removal process. As a Field Technician you will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting gas and leachate systems.

- Permanent full-time position working across a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime
- Manage the installation and removal of gas and leachate systems and provide general assistance with compressed air and stormwater management infrastructure
- Complete scheduled work as instructed, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicating with the Leading Hand prior to commencement of work to ensure work instructions are clear and work location is confirmed.
- Comply with Veolia's Health, Safety and Environment procedures and standards.
- Assist with the general maintenance of site
- Demonstrated experience in sewerage systems and plumbing. Trade qualification highly regarded.
- Understanding of P&G Act Petroleum & Gas Act (desirable)
- Desirable tickets include HR licence, Working at Heights and Telehandler.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and promote a safety first culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management
- Current drivers licence.
