About the role
As the successful applicant, the HR Driver will also ideally have an aptitude for mechanical maintenance/repairs, and will generally work Mon - Fri with the very occasional weekend trip .
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- loading/unloading vehicles & visually checking/reporting car damages
- delivering and picking up cars based from Arundel to Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding areas
- driving either our Tilt tray, 2 Car carrier or 4-car carrier ( performance-dependent )
- undertaking daily prestart checks & reporting any defects/problems to the office
- keeping accurate and legible records (Delivery Docket books)
- maintaining truck cleanliness.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Full Australian working rights or permanent residency essential ( we cannot provide sponsorship at this time )
- Gold Coast residency highly preferred
- Min. 2 years previous HR Driver experience essential
- Car-carrying experience preferred ( training provided if needed )
- Current Qld HR driver's licence essential
- Demonstrated ability to drive manual truck and trailer combos
- Demonstrated knowledge ofGold Coast and Brisbane roads.
