Description:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Communication Engineer with deep expertise in Modbus (RTU/TCP) and CAN (Controller Area Network) protocols.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting communication interfaces between embedded devices, industrial automation systems, and IoT platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate Modbus RTU/TCP and CAN-based communication for embedded systems and industrial applications.
- Design, test, and optimize protocol stacks and firmware for real-time data exchange
- Implement and troubleshoot RS-485, TCP/IP, CAN, and CANopen/J1939
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless data transfer between devices
- Develop diagnostic and debugging tools for industrial networking applications
- Support field engineers and customers in resolving communication issues.
- Stay updated on industrial communication standards and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).
- Strong expertise in Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, CAN, and CANopen/J1939 .
- Experience with embedded C/C++ development for microcontrollers and industrial devices
- Familiarity with RTOS, Linux-based systems, and industrial automation hardware .
- Experience in troubleshooting serial, TCP/IP, and fieldbus communications
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA), and industrial networking is a plus.
