Troocoo are working with QLD government on the recruitment of a senior graphic designer to join the marketing team on a contract basis from March 5th through to September 5th with potential extensions.As the senior designer some of your responsibilities will include:
- Define and maintain corporate identity standards ensure content meets branding guidelines and aligns with the overarching marketing and communications strategy.
- Create, design, edit and produce passenger information, periodicals, publications, brochures, newsletters, electronic and print media advertisements specific to public transport policies, products, systems and services.
- Plan, prepare and manage the production of creative and engaging content using a variety of digital, print media assets and visual imagery, including but not limited to advertising, campaign and event materials suitable for a variety of modern platforms.
- Support the development and delivery of photos, animations and vector files to help contribute to the department’s asset library.
- Provide specialist design and digital communication advice to executives, stakeholders and other departmental representatives on digital and print media, asset production, and departmental branding and whole-of-government policies, procedures.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary communication teams to complete projects efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
- Assist in the monitoring, review and evaluation of branding and creative design practices, current processes, initiatives, strategies and provide high-level advice and build internal stakeholder awareness and understanding on their engagement, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build strong and productive relationships with content providers and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely release of strategically relevant, targeted, persuasive and engaging content.
- Five years' minimum experience working in multimedia, digital design, graphic design, visual and creative design or relevant other environments in a design agency, in-house design team or similar.
- Proficiency in design, publishing and video editing system (ie. Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Microsoft Suite etc.).
- Experience managing digital assets systems and tracking documentation to ensure rights and licences are protected.
- Proven ability to apply brand and style guidelines.
- Experience in videography/photography (and associated editing) is not essential but would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational, resource and time management skills.
- Exceptional presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail
