The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for supporting the smooth financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely
manner.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly.
Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
Develope and impliment procedures and systems to streamline the accounting process
Generate financial reports and assist with audits.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external accountants as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero accounting software.
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations.
