Ensure young people are aware of the rules and expectations while in custody, undertake interviews with the young people (including explaining Conditional Bail Programs and court outcomes) as required, and provide logistical and practical advice and support to young people when they are released from the watchhouse.
Facilitate programs to young people as required (e.g. therapeutic, educational, and recreational).
Maintain accurate records as required, such as recording daily behavioural observations and any reported or observed harm.
