Position Summary
Our client, one of Queensland's largest state government agencies, is seeking a Microsoft 365 Specialist for the role of Solution Architect. In this position, you will support strategic initiatives aimed at assessing, designing, and optimising M365 utilisation across both school and corporate environments. You'll be responsible for developing integration strategies, improving communication and change management around M365 updates, and ensuring the platform aligns with the specific needs of schools. Additionally, the Solution Architect will play a key role in enhancing security measures and creating frameworks for executive reporting and ongoing platform updates.
Responsibilities
Assessment and Analysis: Evaluate the current M365 utilisation in schools and corporate environments, identifying strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement.Integration Strategy Development: Develop strategies to seamlessly integrate M365 across school and corporate settings.Change Management: Suggest methods to enhance communication and change management around M365 updates, leveraging tools such as Message Centre and other Microsoft resources.School-Level Alignment: Explore how M365 can better support unique school needs, particularly during overseas trips, camps, and emergencies, providing tailored solutions for communication and coordination.Security Enhancement: Improve security posture by optimising the use of Microsoft Defender and implementing best practices for security management.Executive Reporting: Develop a comprehensive framework for ongoing executive updates, including visual roadmaps, key metrics, and clear communication of strategic priorities
Requirements
Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 architecture, tools, and solutions.Demonstrated expertise in security frameworks, particularly Microsoft Defender.Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the creation of executive dashboards and roadmaps.
