Killarney Memorial Aged Care trading as ‘K-Life’ is seeking an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to lead our Medical Centre in Killarney. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring our team has the resources and support to deliver exceptional patient care.
You will play a crucial role in managing the appointment book to optimise efficiency and revenue while ensuring doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals can focus on providing high-quality care to the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Oversee financial operations, including billing (Medicare, private, HICAPS, WorkCover) and reporting.
- Ensure the medical centre meets budgets by optimising appointment scheduling and revenue streams.
- Support GPs, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and assistance.
- Maintain accurate medical records, manage rosters and scheduling, and ensure a safe and efficient practice environment.
- Implement systems and processes to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
What you’ll bring to the team:
✔ 3–5 years of practice management experience.
✔ Strong leadership skills to empower and inspire your team.
✔ A passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
✔ Expertise in Best Practice software, Medicare, WorkCover, and DVA.
✔ Experience in rostering, financial oversight, and revenue optimisation.
✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on teamwork and community.
