About the Opportunity:
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced project delivery specialists interested in being put forward for future tenders in infrastructure and asset development projects across Mackay and North Queensland region, including road and transport networks, water and sewer systems, community facilities, structural works, public buildings, utilities, and resource management.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring compliance with quality, financial, and contractual requirements. Key duties include scope development, budgeting, contractor and supplier management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation. The role ensures financial control (CAPEX/OPEX), compliance with quality and safety standards, and proactive stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the Project Manager builds and leads effective teams, monitors project performance, and implements strategies to meet deadlines, control costs, and achieve project objectives.
The Superintendent is responsible for contract administration, cost management, and project oversight to ensure compliance with delivery requirements. Key responsibilities include providing cost advice, auditing, certification, and coordinating design reviews within the construction contract. The role involves stakeholder consultation, negotiation, and liaison with key authorities, ensuring effective project governance. Additionally, the Superintendent provides leadership in time and cost management, monitors progress, and delivers strategic recommendations to mitigate delays and maintain project objectives.
The Inspector is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and ensuring compliance with project standards across civil, roadworks, water, sewerage, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure. Key duties include conducting inspections, reviewing contractor work, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and providing technical advice. Inspectors also play a crucial role in risk assessment, documentation, and reporting, guiding teams, mentoring junior staff, and resolving construction issues to achieve successful project outcomes.
The Contracts Administrator supports project delivery by managing contract administration, cost records, and project documentation. Key responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with cost tracking, forecasting, and contract variations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of contractor payments, and maintaining compliance with contractual and legislative requirements. The role also involves document control, data accuracy, and financial oversight to support efficient project execution.
