The company’s head office is located in Quoiba near Devonport, on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania, with our other Tasmanian branch office in Launceston. We are also located in Regional Victoria, with offices located in Newport, Corio, and several other depots located across the state.
About the role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team based in Quoiba. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in scheduling, asset management, and ensuring compliance with safety and service standards, preferably within the transport industry.
As part of this role, you will work closely with the Tasmanian Fuel Manager and the General Manager Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Provides support to Tasmanian Fuel Manager
- Back fill Fuel Manager role when on leave
- Provide support and back up fuel scheduling
- Back fill lubes scheduling at Devonport and Launceston
- Monday to Friday on site
To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have :
- Proven experience in operations supervisor, fleet management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of plant and equipment including maintenance, service scheduling and repairs.
- Experience working with GPS tracking systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fleet management software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
