About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Mid Murray Homes for the Aged Inc. in Mannum, SA. This is a casual position that will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our residents, visitors, and staff. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. The role will be casual with ad-hoc hours as required, with the possibility of hours being extended.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, residents, and staff in a warm and courteous manner
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls efficiently
- Maintaining the reception area to ensure it is tidy and well-organised
- Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management
- Assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the facility
- Ensuring confidentiality and adhering to relevant policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment and computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in the healthcare or aged care industry
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A genuine interest in providing high-quality care and support to our residents
- Must have proof of 3 x COVID and current season flu vaccinations
- Must have or be prepared to obtain National Police Check
