About the Role:
Lead the delivery of high-quality mental health services at Head to Health Northern Adelaide. Oversee clinical coordination, supervision, and resource allocation for the Immediate Access Care (IAC) and Short-Term Care (STC) teams, ensuring seamless, recovery-focused support.
This role combines leadership with hands-on service delivery, connecting individuals in distress to timely, compassionate care—without the need for referrals or out-of-pocket costs. Be part of a team providing urgent mental health support and alternative pathways to emergency departments.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment;
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical practice in mental health treatment and care, preferably providing therapeutic treatment and/or case management and support
- Experience in working and supporting Peer Practice workforce
- Proven experience at a senior clinical level within the area of mental health service delivery
- Experience in successfully leading/coordinating a team of staff and working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation
- Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports with recommendations.
- Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current registration with one of the following bodies:
- Social Workers – Registered member of the AASW, Psychologists –
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Registered Nurses – Registered with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
- Occupational Therapists – Registered with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists and AHPRA OR
- At minimum, a three (3) year undergraduate degree in Medical or Allied Health discipline and appropriate post graduate experience in the mental health field demonstrating the ability to support the relevant client group in addition to 5 years' experience in mental health preferably in case management/coordination
