About the Roles
We are looking for experienced and passionate Lecturers to join our Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). These positions involve delivering language, literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills education to a diverse group of adult learners, supporting them in developing essential skills for settlement and employment.
The Successful candidate will have:
- Current certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care and First Aid.
- Must hold an RTO approved Training and Assessment qualification of TAE40116 or later
Teachers in the Adult Migrant English Program are required to hold the following qualifications. As a minimum, these are either:
- Graduate Certificate in TESOL
- Graduate Diploma in TESOL
- Master of TESOL
- B Ed with TESOL as a method
- Graduate Diploma of Education with TESOL as a method
- Graduate Certificate in Education with a TESOL method
- Master of Applied Linguistics with a TESOL method

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
