Position Description
Customer-Experience-Representative-PDThe City of Burnside is one of Adelaide's most attractive and historic residential areas. Located in the South-Eastern corner of Adelaide and just 10 minutes from the Central Business District, the City of Burnside covers 28 suburbs and has a residential population of over 45,000. We are seeking a dynamic Customer Experience Representative who is experienced in contact centre operations to join a fast paced and vibrant team.
This varied role involves:
- Dealing with high volume inbound enquiries regarding rates, permits, local laws, applications, bookings and other council related issues.
- Providing innovative customer service with a genuine interest in resolving customers’ enquiries to achieve quality standards and a commitment to first point resolution.
- Receipting, processing various customer payments, cashier balancing and general administrative duties.
- Accurately capturing requests, complaints and applications in corporate systems and other databases in accordance with Council’s procedures, policies and service standards.
- Operating effectively and collaboratively across multiple functions within the Customer Experience team.
Your previous experience in a similar role in a contact centre/call centre will be highly beneficial to your success and local government experience is highly desirable. Possessing MS Office skills, good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution, will enable you to provide high-level service for this position. You will be a quick thinker, have good problem solving skills, resilient, with a focus on quality customer excellence.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis classified at Level 3 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023. You will be rostered to work various shifts with staggered start and finish times ranging between 8.15am to 5.16pm to meet operational requirements.
You will be required to undertake a National Police Check as part of the on-boarding process. You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.
