Role Details Contributing to the management, promotion, documentation and research of the Art Gallery of South Australia collection and works within its care. Provision of an effective administrative service that supports the high functioning AGSA curatorial team, including the organisation of meetings, preparation of minutes, travel bookings, coordination of interns and visiting academics, assisting with exhibition research, catalogues and articles, including distribution of AGSA publications to exhibition lenders and other stakeholders. Ensure the timely and high quality management of acquisition processes through the Acquisitions Committee and the Art Gallery Board; including arranging meetings, preparing documentation which integrates with AGSA’s online collection management system (eMU) and the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program, preparing minutes and processing invoices. Prepare documentation and correspondence pertaining to loans of works, donations, and contributing to the professional document management of AGSA Provide professional and timely communication with a range of stakeholders including liaising with lenders, donors, vendors and members of the public. Provide a high level of professional administrative support that amplifies the work of AGSA, both internally and externally, including coordinating responses to public enquiries and correspondence and maintaining relevant files and documentation. Under the direction of the Senior Curator, support the curatorial team with projects and research as required. Coordinate the financial administration for the Curatorial area, ensuring receipt of invoicing, approved financial delegation and preparation and coding of invoices in Basware as well as international payment Special Conditions
  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.
