William Buck is actively recruiting a Finance Team Administrator to join our Internal Finance team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Firm Financial Controller, this role is pivotal in supporting financial operations, data management, and administrative processes across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Firm Financial Controller and broader team with administrative tasks.
  • Managing timesheets, time transfers, and disbursement reconciliations.
  • Overseeing pricing administration, including hourly rates and productivity budgets.
  • Handling month-end and year-end reporting (Production Reports, Productivity Reports, Lost Time Reports).
  • Performing bookkeeping tasks such as receipting, invoice reversals, credit notes, and general ledger updates.
  • Monitoring supplier contracts and keeping financial records up to date.
  • Importing, reconciling commissions, and assisting with banking and bank account maintenance.
  • Communicating processes to staff and updating the Intranet with relevant information.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues while maintaining documentation.
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
  • Ability to work with financial systems and troubleshoot process issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance-related software, including basic experience with pivot tables, lookups and data collation.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to support a high-performing team.
