As a Casual Administration Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the ward and supporting senior nursing staff. Key responsibilities include :
- Providing general reception and administrative duties, including answering queries and coordinating hospital transfers
- Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and assisting with audits
- Supporting staff induction and orientation, ensuring smooth onboarding
- Assisting with the management of patient beds, transfers, and discharge arrangements
- Contributing to quality improvement activities and promoting a positive, cohesive team culture
- Managing patient information, correspondence, and confidential records efficiently
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in administrative support, including record management and office procedures
- High level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff and the public
- Experience using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and discretion in managing confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
