Reporting to the National Sales Manager , this role requires a results-driven leader with a strong commercial mindset, a strategic approach to sales, and experience in selling complex industrial solutions.
The role:
- Leading & Mentoring: Develop, coach, and hold your sales team accountable for performance.
- Sales Strategy: Implement and execute strategic sales plans while setting and reporting on KPIs.
- B2B Sales & Negotiation: Sell technical solutions to mines and industrial clients, managing proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Process & CRM Focus: Ensure a structured sales process, leveraging CRM and other business systems.
- Market Engagement: Build relationships, collaborate across departments, and stay ahead in the industrial consumables sector.
- Travel: Engage with clients across Australia (interstate travel required).
About you:
- A strategic sales leader with experience managing and holding sales teams accountable.
- Proven ability to sell complex or technical industrial solutions to B2B clients.
- Commercial acumen, with expertise in proposals, tenders, contracts, and deal negotiations .
- A proactive and process-oriented mindset, ensuring structured sales execution.
- Ability to work closely with product and business managers, understanding supply chain dynamics .
- A team player and collaborator who values inclusivity, listens actively, and shares knowledge.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, large-scale business while balancing structure and autonomy.
- This is a full-time, office-based role with interstate travel (WFH is not preferred).
