Description:
We are after a special person join our busy family on our cattle station in outback Queensland to commence in mid-April.
We would love someone who loves kids, is hard working, loves to clean and organise!!, active and is genuinely interested in an outback experience! We definitely need someone who has a drivers license and is a good driver.
The job is about filling gaps in terms of minding the kids, cooking, cleaning, general household duties, gardening, particularly assist in taking kids into town for schooling/sporting/extra curricular activities. We also have a need for this person to help out on the cattle farm at times too - so we need an all-round excellent person :)
Some more details about the role:
- we need you to help with our 6 year old boy, our 9 yr old daughter and 11 yr old son before and after school, do the housekeeping and some general household duties on the station (weekends off) - some days cattle and station work may be required
- this includes cleaning, cooking, gardening, feeding animals or whatever comes up on the day
- our kids go to school in town (30kms away) 5 days/week
- Job will have some basic farm labour so physical health/fitness desirable
- commencement mid early-mid April
- own accommodation (room, bed, fridge, own bathroom) provided (in separate living quarters to house)
- all meals on top of weekly award wage
- experience with children (especially young children) is preferred
- A drivers license is essential and experience in driving (as there is a lot of driving required), as well as good english language skills
- 4-week trial period with the option of extending to up to 12 months if both parties are happy. If all happy, we can offer second or third year visa time.
