About us
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the leading organisation for training, accrediting, and representing psychiatrists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Through conferences, publications, and initiatives, the College drives evidence-based practices, ensures high-quality, culturally aligned care, and works to enhance healthcare outcomes for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Māori communities in alignment with reconciliation and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
About the Role
This role delivers key administrative functions for the College's accreditation processes, including working with the Accreditation Panel. Key tasks include:
- Coordinating accreditation activities for assigned training programs, Formal Education Courses (FECs), and Certificates of Advanced Training.
- Preparing clear, high-quality reports for accreditation panel review within designated time frames.
- Attending meetings with accreditation panels and stakeholders, both in person and online.
- Managing stakeholder surveys and analysing data, including the Medical Training Survey.

What You'll Bring
- Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business administration or education, ideally with exposure to postgraduate education or accreditation processes.
- Experience with educational program accreditation is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and produce clear, concise reports under tight deadlines.
- Availability to travel interstate and overseas for accreditation activities, including occasional after-hours and weekend work.
- Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.

- Salary range from $64,533 to $77,398 inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.
