What you’ll be doing
As the Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the technical roadmap for analytics and reporting and advising on best practice for both capabilities across OneData. This role will support business decision-making by providing actionable insights through data analysis and reporting. You will lead a team of data and reporting analysts and collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for product improvement, understand user behaviour, and drive data informed decision making for the OnePass program and broader Wesfarmers customer insights. In this role, you will lead the evolution of a comprehensive and easy-to-use, self-service reporting platform that democratises data and creates a space where your colleagues are able and eager to answer their own questions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify key metrics and indicators to measure marketing and product performance in order to enhance member engagement and experience
- Lead the analysis of member behaviour to drive commercial outcomes from product, marketing, and finance initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, define analytics requirements and drive data informed product decisions. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for the use of data in the product development process.
- Lead and mentor a team of data and reporting analysts providing guidance, training and support to ensure their professional growth. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture than emphasises continuous learning and development
- Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports and visualisations that track product performance, key financial metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders. Champion awareness and advocacy of analytics, in part through clearly and concisely explaining analytics approaches and techniques to non-technical audiences.
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, proactively collaborating to determine and anticipate needs, and deliver high-level complex investigative and analytical insights
- Ensure compliance and data governance policies, privacy regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with the data platform team to maintain data integrity and security of the analytic and reporting platforms
What you'll bring to the table
- Bring 7+ years of experience in the management of data analysis and reporting, management of reporting platforms, and designing end to end analytics solutions to support product teams.
- Hands-on experience building customer focused reports
- Ability to translate a complex data landscape into easy-to-understand business focused metrics
- Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders and drive reporting and analytics maturity within the business.
- Experience managing a team of analytics professionals. Confident people manager able to face into challenging conversations, set clear expectations and hold others accountable while cultivating a healthy team environment.
- Familiarity with web architecture including tag management, data layers, analytics tracking, and corresponding data flows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
